To My Loving Mother

To my loving mother,

I thank you for the patience you hold in your heart.

The unconditional devotion you share,

Is undoubtedly an art.

You give away hugs and kisses

As if you were born to do just that.

Because of your unfailing love, to you I tip my hat.

To my loving mother,

I am grateful for the time you take,

To show I am your greatest pride.

With you I can express my innermost thoughts.

I do not have to hide.

Who else is worthy of such accolades?

I say none other.

This is why I bestow these words upon my loving mother.
